Principal's Message
Greetings Cottage Families,
We'd like to thank our families for making the start of the school year so successful.
For the month of September our campus character trait focus is Creativity, Courage, and Collaboration. It is important that all students feel that school is a safe place where they can try new things and express their creativity in wonderful new ways. As a school we will be sharing the book The Dot, by Peter Reynolds with students. In The Dot, a child begins a journey of self-discovery about the creative spirit in all of us. At home, encourage your child to have the courage to express their own creativity.
Thank you all for using care when arriving on campus for dismissal. Please let your child know if you will be picking them up on foot or in the car pick up line as it helps speed up the process.
Students picked up on foot will be dismissed at the gate closest to B1.
Please note that all kindergarten and TK students are picked up and dropped off at the kindergarten gate next to the flag pole.
Student safety is our priority. If driving to pick up your child they should wait at the car pick up area and not load themselves in the street. Also, please be careful when driving around campus and follow all traffic laws (no double parking, no U-turns, no speeding, etc).
We look forward to a great school year and hope to see you at our family events.
Respectfully,
Arthur A. Estrada Jr., Ed.D.
Principal
